Supraregional MND center at University Hospital Regensburg serving ALS and hereditary spastic spinal paralysis patients. Heads: Prof. Dr. R. Linker and PD Dr. Z. Kohl (deputy). Study team: Susanne Gegenfurtner (study coordinator), Ohnmar Hsam and Patricia Forras (study physicians). Structured inpatient/outpatient diagnostics and therapy with multidisciplinary team (neurophysiology, neuropsychology, physiotherapy, occupational therapy, speech therapy, social services). Close cooperation with neuroradiology, Center for Human Genetics Regensburg, and palliative medicine. ~50 patients/year.
