Neuromuscular Center Rhine-Main at DKD Helios Clinic Wiesbaden. Head: Dr. med. Bertold Schrank; Deputy: PD Dr. med. Tanja Schlereth. Treats 160+ motor neuron disease patients/year including 100+ ALS patients, plus poliomyelitis, SMA, hereditary spastic spinal paralysis, and multifocal motor neuropathy cases. Cooperates with radiology, cardiology, pneumology, and gastroenterology. Has dedicated sleep laboratory for NIV/cough assistant adaptation and sleep polygraphy. PEG insertion via gastroenterology. External genetic laboratory partnerships. Over 20 years of participation in ALS therapy studies and SMA treatment since 2018. Hosts regular ALS discussion group with German Muscular Dystrophy Society.
